The location of the Villa is perfect - it offers picture postcard views of the Lecco Branch of Lake Como and the Grigna Mountain Range from the elegant veranda and it is surrounded by a beautiful park with century old trees, plants and flowers.

A stay at the Villa Bellavista will not only allow you to experience an elegant Italian home in the heart of a typical town where you can easily walk to the local restaurants, post office, general store, pastry shop and join the locals but it also gives you very easy access to one of Lake Como's most beautiful towns, that of Bellagio. Bellagio, considered to be the Pearl of Lake Como is just 6 kms away. One of the great advantages of this property is that you are so near the lake and towns that line the lake with easy access to the public boats which link the many towns on Lake Como, yet you have the advantage also of being up high to enjoy enviable views and in the warm summer months the temperature is usually at least 2 degrees C less in Civenna than what you have at lake view, assuring a comfortable nights sleep.

For those looking to drive and explore the area within an easy half hours drive you have the towns of Magreglio and Barni with choice of restaurants, Bellagio, Limonta, Lecco, Onno to mention a few places. A little further a field in one hour one can easily arrive in Como - principle city of the lake and province and just another 30 minutes and you can be enjoying the city of Milan or Bergamo - two of Northern Italy's most famous and important cities - the choice is yours.

Ground Floor:

The Villa can be entered from the main entrance where there are two chairs and a two story open space with a veranda offering view to the living room and a glimpse to the lake. Descending the stairs (there are 15 steps) there is the ground floor with the Dining Room with seating for 8 persons, a well equipped eat in kitchen (for 4 persons) with gas oven, 4 gas burners. At the back of the kitchen, there is a storeroom with the washing machine, the dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Between the kitchen and the dining room there is an access to an outdoor area with a stone table (for 8 persons) ideal for having a BBQ while enjoying the wonderful and extensive views of the Lecco branch of Lake Como. Inside, on the left of the Dining room, there is a Living room with 2 comfortable sofas and a table, from there the views of the lake are amazing through the glass doors with provide access to a Terrace (25 mts.) that offers 2 wooden benches and 2 wooden sun loungers. There is also a second living room with sofas and table which offers a bathroom with shower, wc and sink. From this area there is an access to the outdoor gardens and pool.

First Floor:

The First Floor of the Villa is reached by a staircase from the Ground Floor with a total of 18 steps. Here on this floor we have 2 Double Lake View Rooms with queen size bed, one of them with en-suite bathroom with shower,tub, wc, bidet and sink. 1 Twin Room with two beds with Lake View with a library. All of the rooms are well furnished mainly with family furnishings. All bedrooms, like the rest of the Villa are well heated and also well lit naturally. There are Two Bathrooms located on this floor both with hand held shower, wc, bidet, sink.

Laundry:

The Villa has a laundry area in the storeroom next to the kitchen, where you can use the washing machine. You can dry your clothes in the park using the portable clothes horse, iron and ironing board are available near the kitchen area.

Park:

The park which surrounds the Villa can be access by a pedestrian gate or inside from the ground and from the first floors. From the first floor access, there are 7 steps to the garden where there is a table (for 4 persons) to enjoy eating al fresco. From the garden there are 17 steps to the pool. The park is full of century old trees, Bay Trees, Pine Trees and flowers, to mention a few.

Pool

• The pool (11 metres length and 6 metres width) has an infinity style with a magnificent view to the lake. The pool goes from 1.40 metres deep to 2 metres. Around the pool there are 6 sun loungers and a shower.

Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
