Located only 50 minutes drive from Rome, Casa di Poggio, near the town of Poggio Catino is a renovated farmhouse surrounded by a lush garden of 2000 sq.m.

The villa is separated into 2 parts; the main house and the guest house. Between the two is a paved courtyard with a table which seats 16 and a stone barbecue. The swimming pool with pool house is found only a few meters from the villa, with a pergola immersed in the century-old olive trees. This area extends out into an olive grove of some 3.5 hectares that surrounds the entire property. The villa forms part of a small group of rural houses with an historic church that was built between the 1700s and the 1800s.

Today these homes have been restored into residential villas, ideal for those who love the countryside but do not wish to feel isolated. The privacy of Casa di Poggio is guaranteed as the garden is fully enclosed with a high wall. The villa is elegantly furnished, in particular the verandah is equipped with a dining table and lounge area which faces the beautiful panorama of olive groves. Casa di Poggio is ideally located, you can visit one of the many medieval cities such as Alta Sabina, Poggio Catino and Poggio Mirteto. The north-east of Umbria and the south of Tuscany can be reached within a one and a half to two hours’ drive.
