After a conscientious modernization and restoration, Chateau de Siorac opens its doors as a luxurious 6 bedroom rental accommodation and French Bed and Breakfast. Inside the Chateau you will enjoy the craftsmanship of those who built it. Fireplaces, ancient wood paneling, oak beams covered with leather, mosaics, wooden floors, all are part of an ancient theme that has only improved in appearance with time.

Outside you will be delighted by a wealth of wild vegetation and formal gardens that stretch over an area of 40 acres. You are welcome to explore as much as you wish of this plentiful environment. The Chateau is located only 10km from Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne, which constitutes an ideal starting point for the discovery of some of the most beautiful towns of France.

Sarlat, Domme, Brantome, Les Eyzyes and Saint Emilion are within one hour's drive from the Chateau. And of course, there is also much to explore in Perigueux itself: the Roman ruins, museums,or the medieval center with its wonderful open market on Saturdays. Without a doubt, the Dordogne captures the essence of France, and Chateau de Siorac is at its heart.

First Floor: Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, large refrigerator, microwave oven, gas range, electric oven, toaster, coffee maker). Large Kitchen table. Pots, pans, plates, glasses & cutlery are provided. Laundry room with washer & dryer.

Bedroom 1 "Maleville": 30sq m, en suite bathroom with shower hydro-massage. The Maleville bedroom walls are covered with tapestry, has a Queen size bed. It was once used as a maid's quarters to the Comtesse de Leppe.

Second Floor:: Billiard room
Bedroom 2 "Baronne": 20sq m, There is a Full/Queen size bed en suite bathroom with shower hydro-massage. The Baronne bedroom, with its stylish wallpaper and old wood planks, has a 19th century feeling. From its windows you have an unobstructed view of the two towers and the swimming pool.
Bedroom 3 "Comtesse": 30sq m. There are two Queen size beds en suite bathroom. The Comtesse bedroom has a more ancient flair with its exposed stone and old plaster work. The style of the bathroom allows you to appreciate the massiveness of the stone walls of the 16th century east tower.
Bedroom 4 "Camille": 50sq m, 1 king size bed, en suite bathroom. Thewalls are covered with tapestry, original wood paneling and plaster moldings, and a stone fireplace. The bathroom walls are covered with stone from the black Perigord.
Bedroom 5 "Oriental Suite": 80sq m, 1 king size bed, en suite bathroom. The Oriental Suite occupies almost half of the second floor and consists of the bedroom with a King size bed, stone fireplace, a reading room depicting pictures from the 18th century, and a beautiful bathroom in stone, marble and mosaic located in the 16th century west tower. The walls are covered with tapestry and the room is furnished with antiques. It was once the bedroom of the Comtesse de Leppe.

Third Floor: Bedroom 6 "Marquis": 80sq m, 1 king size bed, en suite bathroom.

Wining and Dining: A traditional French breakfast can be served in the elegant dining room with its Renaissance monumental fireplace dominating the room. The elaborate surroundings of the ancient wood paneling and original oak flooring make a perfect setting for enjoying a sumptuous meal. Please call for these rates.

Relaxing: The living room in this French Chateau is steeped with history. The wallpaper, dating back to 1842, carries the initials of Joseph Louis Camille de Beaupoil "Marquis de Saint-Aulaire". With the craftsmanship of the furniture that has ornate carvings of the family crest and the wooden beams and ceiling in their unusual French style this room is a place to savour and relax in.
