Terranova

Villa Terranova, a top class home, lies on the Sorrento side of the Sorrento peninsula, enjoying the splendid panorama of the Gulf of Sorrento. Villa Terranova is located on a hill above Sorrento and the coastline.

Ground Floor:
Accessible by 5 large French doors opening from the terrace in front of the house and leading into one large living room, the ground floor is divided by an arch shaped opening onto a separate lounge and dining area. The lounge is furnished with a large comfortable sofa with cushions, a large wooden table, and a beautiful fireplace surrounded by decorative antique tiles. The living room boasts a 50-inch, flat screen TV and a full Bose stereo system with CD and DVD player. The living room enjoys a small studio corner with desk and computer with wireless Internet connection. The living room is connected to a dining area with a large dining table for 8. The modern and fully equipped kitchen, situated next to the dining room, boasts a 4-range gas stove, double sink, oven, refrigerator, freezer, electrical espresso and American coffee machine, ice machine, dishwasher, and washing machine. The kitchen is full of light thanks to 3 large arch shaped windows overlooking the terrace and garden area. There is also a small deposit/storage room, closet, ? bathroom, and staff bathroom.

Spa:
Accessible from the living room, the entire spa area is encompassed by mosaic tiles. To the left, one will find a spacious bathroom with full shower and sink. To the right, 3 steps down leads to an open shower with cromotherapy and Turkish bath with two benches. The top floor features a large heated Jacuzzi whirl pool for 6/8 people awaits. An arch shaped window leads directly out onto the terrace. The Spa is equipped with bathrobes, towels, slippers, soaps etc. A French door leads behind the house, from where one can also reach the bedrooms or pool.

First Floor:
19 steps up from the ground floor, this area of the house holds the four bedrooms (three double and one twin bedded room). Each bedroom has a private bath and all have heating/air conditioning, which can be regulated independently. All bedrooms have 20-inch, plasma satellite TVs and are furnished similarly, in a minimalist style, each in a different color theme. The bedrooms are full of light and enjoy high ceilings and whitewashed walls, sliding doors, and ceramic tile floors. One of the bedrooms is handicapped accessible directly from the front garden up a handicapped ramp. Three of the bedrooms access a terrace situated on the same floor.

Roof Deck
The roof deck features a beautiful panoramic pool with hydro-massage. The pool is roughly 10 feet long x 3.5 feet deep and is set on a nice wood terrace equipped for sunbathing. The deck enjoys four thick cushions to lay on by the pool surrounded by a large glass barrier, allowing for panoramic views out towards the green surroundings and the Mediterranean. The roof deck also enjoys a large open shower lined with ceramic tiles from the end of the 18th century. The pool deck houses a small bar corner with small refrigerator and sink, ice machine, coffee machine, and 1/2 bathroom. There is also a closet with pool towels, slippers, and bathrobes. Wireless internet is available.

Access: The villa is accessed through a private gate, up a well-lit road, approximately 600 feet long.

Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
