Villa Mimmi
Villa Mimmi was designed with the new millennium in mind, combining spiritual relaxation, harmonious surroundings, and modern technology.
Once an old schoolhouse, Villa Mimmi has been spectacularly refurbished with a mix of eclectic taste, local arts and crafts, and a dash of ethnic flavor. The property is in a beautiful stretch of southern Tuscany that sits between Rome and Florence, with open, breathtaking views.
As you enter Mimmi, a spacious entrance hall with high ceilings greets you, and you are led to a large living room and dining area with fireplace. The design is impeccable: crisp, white sheets; custom-designed sofas; long, welcoming tables; and lanterns to light up the evenings. The tastefully decorated living room has direct access to the outdoor lounge area, which features a beautiful swimming pool, which can be heated upon request to be enjoyed during the off season as well.. This oasis is surrounded by modern, comfortable outdoor furniture and a comfortable terrace to work, eat or relax. The fully-equipped, contemporary kitchen is perfect for family meals. The beautiful and peaceful master suite has an en suite bathroom with a beautiful spa tub. Rounding out the property are two queen bedrooms and three twin bedrooms, all spacious and lovely, with en suite bathrooms with showers.
Villa Mimmi is within walking distance of San Casciano dei Bagni, an unspoiled and beautiful medieval village south of Siena. There are superb quality wine tastings in the village and horseback riding is nearby. However, the best kept secret lies just a few steps away from the villa—an old Roman spa offering therapeutic thermal spring waters and beauty and health treatments.
