Villino
Villino, a newly renovated 19th-century villa, is a regal, castle-like fortress with dramatic architectural details.
This villa is a beautiful, convenient haven close to nearby Noto, architectural capital of the Sicilian-Baroque style. Set back behind a stone wall, Villino is surrounded by lush greenery, impressive gardens, and multiple olive, pine, and palm trees. The lush interior is decorated in blue and golden hues and accented with brass chandeliers, ceiling frescoes, and majolica-tiled floors that add a royal touch. The property is a perfect accommodation for a large family or group of friends eager to experience Sicily in a grand manner.
Enter Villino on the ground floor, through a large reception area with comfortable couches, a bar, reading room, and study. The five queen bedrooms arrayed on the ground and first floors all have en suite bathrooms. All of the bedroom suites (two on each floor) also include an individual living room with a sofa bed and kitchen area. The modern kitchen and large, elegant dining room are located in an adjacent annex. There is a spacious, well-appointed pool; multiple lounge areas; a majestic pool house with a large bar; an indoor lounge area; and two bathrooms with showers just behind the villa.
After spending days and nights in the comfortable environs of Villino, you’ll enjoy venturing to nearby Noto to discover the rich Sicilian Baroque monuments, fine cuisine, and fresh produce. The property is also perfectly positioned for day trips to Syracuse, Catania, and the beautiful Cala Mosca, a Sicilian beach resort known for its crystal-clear water and lush surrounding countryside.
