Vittoria’s interior evokes the calm charm of its country surroundings.

Inside, you’ll be enveloped by warm, relaxing tones and surrounded by antique lighting fixtures, terra-cotta floors, and Tuscan wood beam ceilings. Each of the four bedrooms has an individual color scheme and romantic bed draped with curtains and covers and a private bathroom. There is a well-stocked kitchen with a traditional Tuscan wood-burning stove and two sitting areas—one with sofas, one with plasma TV and a small kitchenette.

The English-speaking owners reside in this 17th-century villa’s other wing (with its own separate entrance) and remain on site. Relax and dine al fresco in Vittoria’s private loggia and then cool off in the large outdoor pool (shared with the guests of La Florenza). A quaint “equipped” town is less than a mile away and horseback riding, golfing, and fishing are all within easy reach. The train is only a 5-minute drive away and Florence can be reached in less than 10 miles.

First Floor: Each of the four bedrooms has its town individual color scheme and distinctive bed with romantic draped curtains and covers. 2 queen bedrooms, each with private bathroom with shower. Just past the kitchen, 1 romantic green twin bedroom and bathroom with shower. 1 queen bedroom with small en suite bathroom with shower.

Ground Floor: Entrance and foyer.
First Floor: Well-equipped kitchen with traditional Tuscan wood-burning oven and sitting area with sofas. Another sitting room with TV and small kitchenette with coffee maker and microwave.

Outside Features

Large swimming pool (6 x 12 meters), amidst lovely shrubs and lemon trees, is shared with guests of nearby La Florenza. Outdoor dining loggia and 3 outdoor tables for dining al fresco.

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The nearest “equipped” town is located under a mile away and the center of Florence is less than 10 miles from the villa, easily accessible via train or bus (both a 5-minute drive away). Guests can also reach Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre and Venice from this train station. A restaurant is within walking distance. The English-speaking owners reside in the villa’s other wing, accessed via separate entrance, and are available to the guests. Eighteen-hole golf courses, horseback riding, and fishing are nearby and can be arranged for guest use.

Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
