“One of my all-time favorite villas on St. John is A La Mer, a villa located right on the Great Cruz Bay. Though it technically has nine bedrooms (seven in the main house and two in the cottage), it can actually sleep 22, so big families can really spread out. It’s very luxurious, but also feels very warm and comfortable, and the outdoor pool area is absolutely incredible. It’s the perfect villa for families.”
“Another St. John favorite is Mare Blu, a six-bedroom villa overlooking Rendezvous Bay. It’s painted blue and purple, so it looks funky and fun on the exterior, but the interior is very inviting. The indoor and outdoor spaces in Mare Blu are spacious, so there’s plenty of room for groups, and the view is just stunning. This is not a cookie-cutter villa – it’s very memorable.”
“On St. Thomas, I love Blue Serenity, a modern and fresh five-bedroom villa in the East End. Because St. Thomas is so hilly, most villas are perched on hills to get those great panoramic views. But Blue Serenity is unusual in that it’s located directly on Secret Harbour Beach, with a staircase leading from the villa right down to the sand. It has gorgeous views and beach access, so it’s a very special place.”
“Mango Hill Greathouse is a spectacular four-bedroom villa on St. Croix. It’s designed in a Danish colonial style and feels very historic on the outside, but it’s kept very modern and up-to-date on the inside. Outside, it has a verandah, outdoor dining area, and pool deck with beautiful views, just perfect for family time. Mango Hill Greathouse also hosts weddings.”
“For smaller families or even couples, two-bedroom Island Views on St. Croix is fantastic. It’s private and modern, with clean lines, airy rooms, and of course, fabulous views. There is a heated infinity pool with a waterfall feature and a hot tub, and guests can walk just a few minutes to several gorgeous beaches.”
