Casa Madera is a 5-minute drive from the Village at Northstar, making it the perfect place to stay any time of year. This 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 2-story home has been remodeled with exceptional artistry and craftsmanship, and perfectly blends the rustic cabin feeling with full-on luxury. Casa Madera offers stunning mountain views, and is the ideal basecamp for enjoying all that the Lake Tahoe lifestyle has to offer—whether it's hitting the slopes in the winter or exploring the hiking and biking trails in the summer. Casa Madera is truly a special place, and we know you'll love it as much as we do!

As soon as you enter this home-away-from-home, you'll be greeted by a beautiful entryway that allows you to go upstairs to the primary living area or downstairs to additional bedrooms and the washer and dryer.

Once upstairs in the great room, you'll be amazed by the open concept living area with high vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and incredible natural lighting. Relax on the couch or loveseat next to the stone fireplace, watch a movie on the flat screen television, or go outside to the balcony, where you can enjoy the fresh air and views. You'll appreciate the nice hardwood floors and austere décor throughout the home to complete the mountain living experience.

The living area opens up into the kitchen and dining room—the perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail. You'll be called to make homecooked meals for your friends and family with stainless steel appliances, including a gas range oven, an impeccable kitchen island, and beautiful cabinetry. Sit around the 10-seat dining room table as you play games, eat dinner, or simply catch up and chat. Enjoy all the conveniences of home with a microwave, blender, and coffee maker.

Primary Suite - 2nd Floor: King Bed Our primary suite is located on the second floor and features plenty of privacy with a comfortable king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a step-in shower. This bedroom is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day exploring all our beautiful town offers.

Bedroom 2 - 1st Floor: Queen Bed This lovely second bedroom is bright and sunny with a comfortable queen bed and has a shared bathroom with the other 1st-floor bedroom. The bathroom is complete with a shower-over-tub combination and two sinks. With plenty of natural lighting, this bedroom would be a great reading spot.

Bedroom 3 - 1st Floor:  Queen Bed This bedroom is an excellent choice for guests who want a little more privacy or quiet. Located on the first floor, this room features a queen-sized bed that would be great for a couple or friends who don't mind sharing a bed. Make sure to wake up early to enjoy the shower-over-tub combination as this is a shared bathroom with the other bedroom downstairs.

Bedroom 4 - 2nd Floor: Twin-Over-Twin Bunks - 4 Beds The final bedroom is a great choice for kids, sleepovers, or friends who love to share space so they can stay up late talking. This double twin-over-full bunk room shares a bathroom with the second bedroom, including one sink to get ready in the morning or wash up at night. Or you can head to the quarter bathroom also on the top floor.

Casa Madera is the perfect mountain getaway, whether you're hitting the slopes or exploring the charming nearby towns. And when you're ready to relax, you can enjoy the hot tub on the back deck or fire up the gas grill for a BBQ.
