The Coach House, situated in the heart of the beautiful 18th-century historic Good Hope Estate, is a country villa with 7 contemporary bedrooms, all with ceiling fans, air conditioning & en-suite bathrooms. Recently renovated with stylish new interiors and the addition of a 50-foot infinity-edge pool & an open-air dining terrace. Good Hope’s private beach house (25-minute drive away) has a 110-foot white sandy beach and calm waters for swimming.

Good Hope Estate is about two thousand acres in size and is in the parish of Trelawny, Jamaica.   This property sits in a wonderful valley, which is surrounded by the green hills of the cockpit country.  The Martha Brae River flows straight through the entire Good Hope land.  

A fantastic gathering place for families, retreats, and friends, with space for togetherness, space for discovering nature, and space for alone time.  

Today, Good Hope is a tourist destination for guests to enjoy the property with Chukka Caribbean’s Eco-tour.  The Coach House welcomes guests to immerse themselves in Jamaica's history, nature & beauty.

Accommodations

The Coach House at Good Hope has 6 bedrooms in the main building (4 ground level and 2 upstairs), a private 7th bedroom on the lower garden level. There is a possibility of 2 bedrooms just 50 paces away through the garden with countryside views with permission if available)

The four bedrooms on the ground level are all located off the beautiful entrance hall & sitting area, with its arched entrance, cut stone walls, and limestone floors. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and bathrooms, one at each end of the house, both with spectacular views of the valley. A seventh bedroom is very private, perfect for young adults - located at the lower garden level, accessed from the main pool terrace via a metal spiral staircase or a path along the side of the Villa. The 8th & 9th are located up a few stairs. Bamboo is a lovely suite with a private sitting room, and Dharma is upstairs, located just off the Yoga room.

All 7 bedrooms have bathrooms, fans, and air conditioning.

Beach

Our private Good Hope Sangha beach clubhouse is 25 minutes away - with 110 feet of beachfront, a clubhouse with an upper deck, outside showers, a lovely shade tree, and warm, calm, shallow waters to swim and play.  We have deck chairs and lounges as well as a paddleboard, a kayak, and boogie boards to enjoy.  Bring your music to play on our sound system.  We will bring down a picnic for your family or group to enjoy.

 Activities

Guests of Good Hope get a discounted price on activities at Chukka (Good Hope). These can be booked on-island, such as tubing, bamboo rafting, zip line, rum tasting, and eco bike tours. 

All guests have complimentary access to the pools, water slide, river, and waterfalls at Chukka (Good Hope).

Rates

All-inclusive meal plans start at $82.50 per adult per day & $49.50 per child (up to 12 yrs) per day – includes 3 meals per day (1 vegetarian & 1 protein), all snacks, freshly made juices, and coconut water.
