Villa Overview

Villa Marquesa is ideally located near the charming laid-back resort of Olhos d’Agua – once a fishing village, now a town centred around a sandy cove offering a wide choice of restaurants, bars and activities.  The villa is also within easy reach of lively Albufeira, making it perfect for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing escape close to a major resort, without actually being in it.

The property is accessed via a secure gated driveway with plenty of parking.  Enter the property through large Italian vaulted doors which open to an expansive open plan living/dining area with impressive sea views and a baby grand piano. From this area there are French doors to a covered terrace with gas barbecue and alfresco dining space with panoramic views – guests can enjoy relaxed evening meals with the twinkling lights of local fishing boats as the backdrop.  The infinity pool made with Italian Bisazza tiling is a true highlight.  Villa Marquesa is fully air conditioned.

First Floor (Entrance Level)

• Open plan living / dining area
• Spacious fully equipped kitchen that includes an inside breakfast bar and grill facility as well as an American fridge/freezer, four wine coolers, microwave, dishwasher, gas oven, steam oven, electric oven, large stove with gas burners, kettle, toaster, juice maker and Nespresso coffee machine!
• Bedroom 1: Master bedroom (Double bed 2m x 1.70m) with ensuite bathroom, walk-in dressing area and views to the sea across the upper lawn

Stairs lead to the ground level where guests will find the entertainment space and 4 further bedroom suites.

Ground Floor

• Bedroom 2: African suite (Double bed measuring 2m x 1.70m) with ensuite bathroom.  The bathroom has a motorized glass ceiling which opens at the touch of a button, allowing bathing under the stars!
• Bedroom 3: Gold suite (Double bed measuring 2m x 1.70m) with ensuite bathroom
• Bedroom 4: White suite (Double bed measuring 1.97m x 1.80m) with ensuite bathroom
• Bedroom 5: Round suite (Round double bed measuring 2.22m) with ensuite bathroom
• TV area with comfortable seating
• Fully equipped gym with TV and sound system and an adjacent shower room
• A pool table and a bar with a small kitchen complete the space

Guesthouse

• Built over 2 floors a lounge occupies the first floor and the three bedrooms are located on the lower floor.
• Bedroom 6: Double bed (measuring 2m x 1.80m) and ensuite bathroom
• Bedroom 7: Double bed (measuring 2m x 1.60m) and ensuite bathroom
• Bedroom 8: Twin beds (both measuring 2m x 0.9m) and ensuite bathroom

• Private chlorine free (saline) infinity pool (16m x 6m) with underwater bar stools and motorized cover, pool side jacuzzi, sun loungers and day bed

PLEASE NOTE: The villa is located at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean so naturally the boundaries should be respected (please do not step outside the fenced area).
On the edge of the cliff there is a public footpath so occasional intrepid walkers may pass by.
